Challenges in Gastric Band Surgery

Course aims
This comprehensive 1-day course will focus on the importance of the multi-disciplinary team approach to the management of patients with gastric bands. In addition to seminars and discussion, there will also be practical clinical demonstrations of band fills and patients will share their post-operative experiences.
Individual roles and the principles of patient selection / preparation will be discussed, as well as inpatient care and the principles of individualised follow-up care.
