For all Core Surgical trainees new to the programme.
Overview
An induction day for all incoming Core Surgical trainees. This mandatory event enables new trainees to meet their colleagues, some of the faculty, and to learn about the core surgical programme and how to get the most out of it. The day has been developed by other surgical trainees to ensure its relevance.
IMPORTANT. Core trainees should contact their place of work immediately (most Trusts need six weeks notice of leave of absence) and let them know they will be away from work.
