Course Overview
- Discussing new techniques in thyroidectomy, with only 2cm incision (Mr Myles Black)
- Video workshop on minimally invasive thyroid surgery
- Includes controversial topics such as identification of the recurrent laryngeal nerve in minimal access, the role of the superior laryngeal nerve and central neck node dissection
- Guest speakers (Mr Jeremy Davis, Mr Nick Gibbins and Dr Michael Flynn) speak on management of vocal cord palsy, investigating incidental nodules and the role of endocrinology
- Interactive with debate from a consultant panel
- Includes Thursday night dinner and drinks, overnight stay at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, breakfast, lunch, refreshments and course

£350 consultants (£250 without o/n stay)
£250 trainees (£150 without o/n stay)
