Course Overview

This successful one-day course covering the fundamentals of skeletal fixation is the ideal way to start core training in trauma and orthopaedics.

Features:

  • Informative lectures (Bone Healing, Plating, I.M. Nailing, External Fixation)
  • Interactive case discussions to prepare you for trauma meetings
  • Hands-on saw-bone practice and familiarisation with the kit for: Plating (compression & bridging), Lagging (with neutralisation plate) and External Fixation.

Cost 

FREE for Severn Trainees (CT1/CT2/LAT/TrustGrades)

£30 deposit (refundable only on attendance) is required from all candidates.

Cost is £60 for non-Severn doctors. Make cheques payable to GH NHS FT.
