Surgical Research - Core and General Surgery trainees
Category: Training - Other
Date: December 3rd 2018 3:00pm until 7:30pm
Location: Canynge Hall, 58 Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2PL
The main benefit is that it will provide all trainees the opportunity to obtain Good Clinical Practice (GCP) sign off, which is now a CCT requirement and also allows GCP holders to recruit into clinical trials. Furthermore, there will be talks from a number of academic trainees with regards to research opportunities within the deanery and how to go about arranging a higher degree such as a PhD/MD. It will also provide an opportunity to update trainees on the collaborative studies ongoing/proposed within the region.
Food and drink will be provided. The afternoon will be hosted by David Messenger, Professor Jane Blazeby and Natalie Blencowe.
